We collaborate with a small number of creators each season — content for tattoo work. You document your experience with our artists and inside the studio; we put that story in front of a wider audience. If your audience trusts your taste and you want a piece with real intent behind it, read on.
How It Works
A trade, not a transaction.
There is no cash in this programme, in either direction. Your incentive is the tattoo itself — credited or fully covered depending on tier — in exchange for documenting the experience: the consultation, the session, the artist at work, and the finished piece. That is what helps put Hanok on the map. Everything else — design, aftercare, waiver — runs exactly as it does for any client.

Tiers are a guide, not a rule. Engagement, audience fit and how you make things matter more to us than follower count.
Tier 01
Signal
5K – 25K followers
For emerging creators whose audience genuinely overlaps with ours.
What you receive
- Studio credit toward a small piece
- 15% off aftercare and merch products
- Personal referral code for your audience
What we ask
- 1–2 reels, depending on the size of the piece
- Minimum 2 in-feed posts tagging the studio and artist
- 3 stories across your session day
- Usage rights for the images we shoot
Tier 02
Voice
25K – 100K followers
For established creators in fashion, art, music or lifestyle who can carry a story properly.
What you receive
- Session credit toward a medium piece
- Priority booking with your chosen artist
- 20% off aftercare and merch products
- Professional photography of your piece
What we ask
- 2-3 reels or short-form videos on your session
- Minimum 3 in-feed posts and 6 stories
- Usage rights across our channels for 12 months
Tier 03
House
100K+ followers
A small number of long-term partners we build a body of work with over time.
What you receive
- Full custom piece with a resident artist
- Multi-session projects considered
- Co-created campaign shoot at the studio
- Raffle a discounted session to your audience (agreed with us)
- Standing 25% off aftercare and merch products

- An agreed content package per project
- Exclusivity from competing Toronto studios for the term
- Usage rights across our channels
All collaborations are content-for-service. Tattoo work is booked with the artist best suited to your idea, subject to availability and our usual consultation process.

Do you pay creators?
No — there is no cash in either direction. Your incentive is the tattoo itself, credited or fully covered depending on tier, in exchange for documenting your experience with us.
Do I get to choose my artist?
You can request one, and we'll honour it where possible. Sometimes we'll suggest a different resident whose style suits your idea better.
Can I pick any design?
Within reason. It goes through the same consultation as any client, and the artist has final say on what they're willing to tattoo.
How many creators do you accept?
A handful each season. We keep the group small so each collaboration gets proper attention.
What if my following is small but very engaged?
Apply anyway. Select "Not sure — you decide" on the tier question and tell us about your audience.
Do I still need to sign a waiver?
Yes. Every person tattooed here completes the medical waiver and consultation, without exception.
